Quality advice transcends one’s self

All the advice I give is not always useful to others, but it doesn’t stop me to help out any wandering soul that needs help. People I advice are often back to me with the question "how I’m able to understand their situation”. I simply put them back by replying “i don’t understand , I just remove all my ego from the advice and tell you what I would have done if would have been your position” but coming out with a advice which help them isn’t that simple. So today will try to put out some words which may help you to add more quality of your wisdom.

Have a story to tell

• Dry information and stats doesn’t inspire people to make a change or listen to you 
• Every great speech or piece of advice is always bundled with a story.

Chuck down your advice

• Long piece of advice will rarely be absorbed or put into practice.
• Keep advice is simple and focus to the point.
• Try to give not more than 3 takeaways from your advice.

Have a good structure to explain

• Structure your advice logically , or start with most important point.
• Intro , body , takeaways  / conclusion so people can easily follow advice.

Be respectful to their decisions

• People who came to you for advice are already in some form of pain
• You don’t want them to feel more bad or worse make them hurt themselves more
• So don’t talk down on them 

Get to the point 

• Your advice may be the amazing but will never be heard if you don’t get to the point 
• tell people upfront how long you will take to give them a solution
• try to drop all killers with no fillers - focus on solution not on life story

Make it inspirational

• Being inspirational is how you get people’s attention 
• Inspiring them makes them feel good and postivpo about themselves
• Inspiration that cannot drive an action to change is useless

Use your own experience

• Your own experience is the best advice you can give to anyone
• Everyone has experience to share 

Relate your advice back to their problem

• Best advice ties back to the listeners problem
• Most of us advice solution without even realizing audience problem

Inject emotions

• We all are humans and emotions unite us all
• linking your advice with emotions can get people to take actions.

Remember you can’t be right every time,  even if people doesn’t find your advice helpful they will definitely admire your support in their hard time.
